Syd started with Standard Auto Glass in 1973 and continued to work in the auto glass industry up until 1993 when he decided that there was a need for personal service, quality assurance and a higher safety standard when it comes to installing glass.

This prompted Syd to open up his own shop "Syd's Auto Glass" in Elmira, he soon became a fixture in the Elmira community employing only the highest standards in glass installation with a personal touch. Syd's attention to safety and excellent service has kept him in business for over 15 and he is still going strong.

Syd Lennox is a member of the Auto Glass Replacement Safety Standards and is a Certified Master Auto Glass Technician, with the National Glass Association.

Professional replacement of DOT approved safety glass for cars trucks and heavy equipment stone chip repair, a large number of stone chips damage can be repaired using an injection process to stabilize the damage and put off the replacement of the windshield until later.
